 The façade is the exterior face (representing each of the faces of any vertical constructive element) of a building. A house or building can have a front, side or rear façade. This, together with the roof, is one of the most important elements of a house or building; it acts as the first barrier against external weather factors that may affect the building: rain, sun, snow, wind, among others.
